Are you NetWeaving or Networking?

Are you networking or netweaving?  This is an important question as there is a difference between ‘weaving’ and ‘working’ especially when it comes to business building using networking/ word of mouth marketing.

Are you working hard to build your relationships and turning them into business or weaving your relationships into something that is lasting whilst supporting your friends, colleagues and clients too?

I believe life is a tapestry and we weave our own as we progress through our experiences.  For me, my relationship building is something that is lasting, creative and supportive to those whom I can help along the way. The relationships I build are for the future, not only for now.

Netweaving is about creating your own group or community that will be your mainstay of like-minded people who will help you create what you want from life. These relationships are lasting and not here just for today and gone tomorrow.   What you want to create from a relationship can cover all aspects of life, not only business.  People whom you weave into your community will be there for all the support you want as well as you supporting them in all they wish to achieve in their tapestry.

So, remember if you are serious about creating strong relationships that last, become aware that you are creating your own community of people whom you would like to have around you, not only professionally, but also personally.

The more you get to know your community, the more you are able to support them to reach whatever potential they wish to reach.  No business or community is built by one person alone.  It takes many and just as we talk about a restaurant or movie that we loved, so do we need to speak about the people around us who are offering great service and products in their businesses.  Just ask Richard Branson or Bill Gates …. They put all the right people around them to create their dreams.  Are you doing that?

All good relationships need to be built on trust and knowledge.  If you don’t take the time to develop them and gain the knowledge you will not be able to give the support that is necessary for them to move forward and succeed too.

So, why WORK when you can WEAVE your way through not only your life but others too?
